Into the Burning

Ava Drake has had a lot of chaos in her life. Losing her adoptive parents, banishment from her shapeshifter clan because she refused to give up her mixed race child, and most recently, finding out that her two year old daughter is manifesting gifts that haven’t been seen in over 100 years.

Getting it done

My Anthology piece is done. Finally. The larger parts of the whole story threatened to take over but with the help of my muse and my Muse(BF who cracks the whip when I need her to) I kept it to a manageable size. With the world I've begun to create, it looks like I might have enough material for at least two books, possible a trilogy.

Also, a dear friend made noises about art, just on my description of my main character. How cool is that?
