My Muse is a stubborn wench

I've been poking at my story for ages and I'm officially stuck.   School has me completely unable to concentrate on being creative.  I thought I would use the idle time I spent in DT Fort Worth this week on world building but apparently STAAR testing sucked the creative vibe right out of me.  I tried several mediums: tablet, paper notebook, email draft...  Nothing.  I actually found myself staring at the clock, waiting for my kids to be released from testing purgatory and the only marks on the page were little dots from tapping my pencil.

Getting it done

My Anthology piece is done. Finally. The larger parts of the whole story threatened to take over but with the help of my muse and my Muse(BF who cracks the whip when I need her to) I kept it to a manageable size. With the world I've begun to create, it looks like I might have enough material for at least two books, possible a trilogy.

Also, a dear friend made noises about art, just on my description of my main character. How cool is that?
